Again, I've been rather quiet today. Even people who don't really know me told me that.
Walking in the rain was cool. Most of the time we were too busy, rather preoccupied to notice anything at all, besides the routine that we inevitably face. When we are on our way to school, to work, most of us will be in stoning mode. To state that pleasantly, we are in our own world --- catching a wink, listen to whatever's plugged to our ears, reading. If we were in a rush, perhaps what we really care is, "Are we there yet?" Hmmm, of course, if I'm late and on the cab, I'd simply asked the driver how long it is going to take to reach and after that if the driver strikes a conversation, I'd very much try to carry it on. For some strange reasons, I get "discounts" off my cab fares for that. My two-cents are worth pretty much more than just two-cents afterall. Call me a slacker or someone who's easily distracted, but most of the time I simply couldn't resist when something, a small detail, catches my attention, even if I'm late.
Perhaps it's weird of me, i'm not sure how many people do notice that --- I can recognise some of the commutters who board the same train or bus as me. When my dad drove me to school, along the expressway, sometimes there were carcasses, I'd muttered a prayer for them. Along the way to campus, if i'm on a non-airconditioned bus, i do like the morning breeze and the morning scent along certain parts of the journey. A pretty car. A magnificent house. A tree. Someone who dresses weird. Anything, can simply get my attention.
No wonder Jo said my blog's melancholy.
