The perfect Monday morning started not so perfect afterall, of course, with the inevitable Monday-morning-blues sydrome.
My morning call @8am for breakfast @Compass Point with Azhar. What could have been more important and more enjoyable and more relaxed than having breakfast with a best friend... ... Yes, it was MY fault for not being able to hear his instructions clearly that he'll be waiting @my house carpark for me cuz I was awake with my eyes closed. So, guess what? I took a bus to CP and msg him along the way that I'd be reaching in 5min. Yup, and immediately after that msg was sent, a call was received and what followed was 3min of blaming and re-enactment and well, it ended up with it's MY fault. Ok.... Anyway, breakfast @ BK was just great. Yummy.
After that we went Cold Storage to run an errand and after making payment I actually left the carrier at the counter and only after 5steps did I realise that. What did I say? Monday-morning-blues. Let me tell you how slow my brain was functioning:
1) Make payment
2) Got the change
3) Took the first few steps while keeping the change
4) While taking another step, my brain transmitted the msg, "Something's missing. If I got change, that means I've paid for something."
5) Oh no, my carrier!!!
A series of unfortunate events literally means a series. Instead of any of us being able to be home to watch emmy, the remote thingy of his car decided to malfunction lah.... We were stuck @the carpark thinking of means and ways to "break-in" without sounding off the alarm. Imagine having a car that you can't drive. Last resort, we took a train to Hougang area to get that remote checked and battery changed. Well, anyway whose fault was it for the remote not to work? ME!!! I didn't even get the chance to defend myself and I just got that for being there.
Finally, home-sweet-home close to 11am. And he's off for his activities and I'm off for mine. Well, it was all worth the Monday-morning-blue sydrome to have so much fun.
