Met Nicholas for dinner @ Lau Pa Sat some hours back and met a friend-cum-collegue of his yet a schoolmate of mine. Had a conversation about their work and currently, my school-life. After which they went back to their office to settle their work while I went off. Thought of grabbing a couple of gals out for supper and drinks and hang-around, but everyone seems so not available. It was either they were @ camp or this RAG thingy (practising that thru the night and doing make-up in the middle of the night = CRAZY!!!).
Well, anyway, I was contemplating where to roam when I decided on PS. By the time I reached there, it was like almost all the shops are closed and left with cinema, cafes, eateries and carrefour. Decided on Secret Recipes since I have never eaten there before. Thought that their cakes would be very very tasty, but it turned out otherwise. Not to the extent of inedible, just a little not the expected cake-ish feeling that I wanted and had. At least the freezy lemon boosted the meal. Sat their for about an hour before leaving for home. Everywhere was so packed, especially the trains, cuz loads and loads of people went for the firework display earlier on. It was so scary how most communters attempted to squeeze themselves into the cabin, even though they know that they might be squashed by the doors and the pain. Wonder if it will lower their life expectancy by a great deal just to get on the next train, especially those with children.
School's been fine, pretty fine, I supposed. It's a school afterall.
